Works as assistant professor at the Department of Sociology, at the Faculty of Philosophy,University of Niš, where he teaches the following courses: Sociology of Knowledge, Sociology of Gender and Sexuality, and Theories of Ideology.

He is one of the founders of and researchers at The Center for the Empirical Cultural Studies of South-East Europe. From 2020 to 2023, he worked as a researcher on the HORIZON 2020 project: “European inventory of social values of culture as a basis for inclusive cultural policies” (INVENT; grant №870691).

Since June 2019, Editor of the scientific journal The Sociological Annual.

Scientific interests: symbolic conflicts, identity, qualitative methods, common sense knowledge, religion and popular culture.

Translated several scientific articles and chapters of scientific monographs from the English language (published in scientific journals: Teme, Treći program, Godišnjak za sociologiju, as well as in the collection of works: Possibilities and Limits of the Social Learning of Orthodoxy and the Orthodox Church).
